Our Story

Founded in 2024, United Ambassadors of Hope was created as a 501(c)(3) non-profit to officially communities affected by natural disasters. Founder, Mind Barrett, has firsthand experience with six different disasters, including losing her home and animals in the Maui fires. It’s because of this that Mindy brings a unique understanding of what it takes to rebuild. With 12 years of experience being the owner of an industrial construction company, managing large private and government contracts, she developed comprehensive project management skills that translate to connecting support networks after disaster. Mindy also brings expertise from her experience in owning a global digital media marketing and management company. Based back in her hometown in North Carolina, she is coordinating grassroots relief efforts to support locals across the mountain communities.
